Connecting to the LQR MCP Server from Claude.ai

Prerequisites

• An account at lambqr.com

• A Claude.ai account (Pro or higher recommended, to allow multiple connectors)

Setup

1. Go to Settings → Connectors → Add → Add custom connector

2. Enter:

   • Name: LQR MCP Server

   • Remote MCP server URL: https://mcp.lambqr.com/mcp

3. Click Continue

4. On the connection details screen, set:

   • Authentication: Always required

   • OAuth Client: No client ID – register one automatically (default)

   • Additional request headers: none

5. Click Save, then Connect

6. Log in with your lambqr.com email and password when prompted

7. Open the new LQR MCP Server connector and set Tool permissions to Always allow

Using it

• Ask Claude anything about the asset management industry — it can search text, tables, figures, series, and directories from the LQR dataset.

• To send feedback, just tell Claude to send feedback to LQR.

Privacy notes

• LQR can't see your conversations with Claude.ai — only that a call was made to the MCP server, with no logging of query content or responses.

• The server is hosted in Frankfurt.
